Marcelle Yeager | President
Marcelle is passionate about helping mid- to executive level professionals land jobs that get them to the next level of their career. At Career Valet, she works with clients on their branding strategy and job search materials to secure new roles. This has led to many successes, including a senior director becoming the COO of a start-up and the CFO of a small firm becoming a VP in a $12B company. She co-founded a second business in 2015, ServingTalent, a boutique recruiting firm for top U.S. military and foreign service spouses. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Marcelle did her fair share of job searching and career exploration, eventually spending many years in strategic communications at a Washington, D.C. public affairs firm and Booz Allen Hamilton. She also worked as a civilian at the Department of Defense and the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Marcelle has worked abroad for over six years, including in Russia and Chile. She is based in the Washington, DC area.
Marcelle holds an MBA from the University of Maryland College Park and a BA from Georgetown University. She is a regular contributor to ClearanceJobs, a former weekly contributor to the U.S. News and World Report On Careers blog, and has been featured in Forbes, MONEY Magazine, Business Insider, The Ladders, Monster, and FlexJobs, among others. She is a certified professional resume writer (CPRW) and serves on the Washington Network Group's Career Development Roundtable Steering Committee. When not raising her three children and running her companies, Marcelle loves to dance tap and hip-hop.

Carla Gray | Writer
Carla is a perpetual learner with degrees in psychology (honors) and accounting (cum laude), and a half-finished master’s degree in criminology. As the wife of a diplomat, she’s fed her curiosity by living and working across four continents. She opened a mini-commissary in Albania, helped a German start-up gain industry fame on Facebook, and spent three years building a brand of her own, on a mission to #EndBadGifting, where she outperformed a national television segment on the best gifts to give for the 2014 holiday season. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering with Homestretch, working on her novel, and designing modern floral arrangements.
