Job sites that deliver
If you're frustrated by not getting responses to your applications or wondering how long your search is going to take, below are some key points from Huntr.co's 2025 Annual Job Search Trends Report.
While LinkedIn and Indeed hold the top spots for the tools used most for job searching, they do not deliver the highest response rates for applications. Smaller job sites consistently deliver higher odds of hearing back.
Beware of relying exclusively on LinkedIn's Easy Apply feature. Only 27.5% of job seekers report that it led to at least one interview in 2025.
The data showed that Google Jobs had an 11.3% response rate, followed closely by GovernmentJobs (8.7%) and Wellfound (6.0%). Mid-tier sites performed as follows: Glassdoor (5.5%), Handshake (5.1%), and Welcome to the Jungle (4.5%).
